THIS IS A VERY LONG STORY BUT VERY TOUCHING

 in a small little town in central Florida,
there lived a little girl named, Sarah Jane kendell.
\Sarah was just 4 years old,
she liked all the things, that most 4 year old girls liked.
she loved playing dress up
and having tea parties with her dolls and she loved music,
she loved to sing and she really had a great voice,
for someone her age.
one year during the Christmas play ,
she even got to sing at her church.
Sarah loved to go to church,
and she loved to read all about Jesus
and the story of his birth.
because she was born just 4 days before Christmas
she she loved the idea that she got presents twice in four days,
because her parents always tried to keep her birthday special.

Sarah's daddy had been the minister at the church of god in town,
since Sarah was a baby.
and Sarah's mommy was a Sunday school teacher there
and a stay at home mom
Sarah had learned early about Jesus
and the loved he had for her and all of his people.
at 2 years old Sarah got very sick,
she had a sore throat for a few days
then she ran a really high fever,
her parents, Susie and bill couldn't get it down,
they called her pediatrician, dr. Matthews,
he said he would meet them at the hospital.
when they got her to the hospital,
the doctor checked her over and admitted her.
he sat down the next morning with her parents
and said, Sarah has rheumatic fever,
and it can cause heart damage,
I want to keep her for a few days and run some test.

over the next couple of days, Sarah's fever went up and down,
it would be low one minute, then spike really high the next.
dr. Matthews had some test done on Sarah during the next few days,
and then he came in and talked to Sarah's parents.
he said Sarah's heart hasn't suffered any damage yet, which is good.
if she doesn't have anymore fevers, I think she will be ok.
rheumatic fever can come back ,but allot of times it don't.
a few days latter Sarah went home
and soon began to feel like her old self,
running and playing just any normal little 2 year old.
right before Sarah's third birthday,
Sarah woke up late one night feeling really bad.
Sarah went to her mommy's room and woke her up,
she said my head hurts mommy.
Susie felt Sarah's head and she was so hot ,
Susie turned over and woke bill up and said Sarah's sick again.
while bill called Dr Matthews ,Susie checked Sarah's temp,
it was 105.5, Dr Mathew's said bring her in.
