Margo
and her best friend Misty were out shopping for some things for
the wedding.
Misty said, I can hardly believe
you are going to be
married in three months. I know me either, said Margo, and I
still have
a lot to do before then ,anyway my dress will be in next week. it
is so beautiful. The seamstress Molly emailed me some pics of
it; I’ll show
them to you later. Molly says I’ll look just like I walked off
the set of
gone with the wind. Misty said, you know you were lucky to her
on such a short notice. I’ve heard she usually requires at
least a year’s notice.
I know said Margo, she is so good at her job I was lucky to get
her at all.
Hey here is that cake place I heard about. Let’s go in and
take a look .
I wonder if they have the topper I want. Grandma is making my
cake. it
is going to look just like grandma's flower garden at magnolia
lane.
And the topper will be a white gazebo, with magnolias all down
the sides of it. And a walkway made out of magnolia petals. The
bride and groom
will be dressed just like Scarlet O’Hara and Rhet Butler. That
sounds so
great said Misty and into the shop they went.
They looked around for a little while, then a sales girl
walked up and said,
hi my name is Sally. Can I help you find something? Oh hello
said Margo, I am getting married and I am looking for a cake topper. it
needs to be a white gazebo with magnolia flowers on
it. And the bride and groom need to be dressed like the couple
from gone with the wind. Sally said, I think we made one like
that before, let me go get our catalog, I’ll show you the one
I am thinking of. Great said Margo, Sally left, and in a few
minutes she came back with the catalog and showed it to Margo
and Misty. Oh my goodness
said Margo, it looks just like I pictured it’ll take it, how
long will it take to order it. Sally said, I can have it ready
in two weeks is that ok? That will be great said Margo, and I
would like to go ahead and pay for it now. That will be fine
said Sally. And I will call you when it comes in. ok said Margo
and she and Misty left the shop. Once
they were outside Misty said, how about stopping for lunch? Sounds
great said Margo, I’m starving. so they headed for the
diner down the road, and they both had a salad and coffee.
