Matthew Thomas
 

I want to tell you a story about a boy that I never met
But his is a story that I will not soon forget.
Now Matthew he was like other boys till the age of 2 or 3
Playing and living life as happy as can be.
Then a terrible disease called muscular dystrophy
Changed Matthew's whole world as he had known it to be.

He was confined to a wheelchair at such an early age
But Matthew put his faith in God and tried to just be brave.
He prayed to God each night with all his might
Please dear Lord just make my legs be alright.
Just to walk, run and play like other boys do every day
Would change my life dear Lord, in so many ways.

I give all of my praises my Lord to you
For I know there is nothing that you can't do.
I know dear Lord that you must have a plan
For the bible says you have one for each and every man.
So I'll just keep my faith and call upon your undying love
And one day I'll stand with you in heaven up above.

This is dedicated to Matthew Chad Thomas
Our prayers are with you Matthew
Today, tomorrow and always
Keep holding to your faith.
