RESTING IN THE ARMS OF JESUS

I know my life was short down there
in that place you all call "earth"
Yet, it seems my job was all completed
although so soon after my birth.
You see my Father needed me
(The one who died upon the tree)
He said to me: "Sweet Kammryn...
It's time for you to come with Me."

I'm too young to even understand
the grief I leave behind...
But, with you... I leave memories
for you to hold close to your hearts and minds.
A smile so sweet ... you won't forget,
maybe a fussy time or two...
a silly look that I would show,
at things you all did do.

Sometimes I rested in your arms
and in my crib I did rest too,
But, I'm now resting in the arms of Jesus...
since I cannot be with you.
I know, to you, this may seem wrong
but, Jesus has a plan...
and it's "OK" if you feel angry,
for... one day you'll understand!

Now, as I am resting in the arms of Jesus
you can be sure, I feel no pain,
I'm where I do not know what sadness is...
Where I'll wait to see you all again!
Please, Hold on close to Jesus
Don't ever lose sight of what He can do,
and when it's time... He'll call your name...
You'll be resting in the arms of Jesus too!!!
