The reason for the season

While you wrap the presents and hang the holly
Think of those who are less jolly.
Those who have no nice warm bed
In which to lay their sleepy heads.

Kids who have no toys to unwrap
Or a winter coat to warm their back.
Take some time this year to pray
For those who serve our country today.

Christmas isn’t just a time of year
It’s the birthday of the one so dear.
Jesus Christ, the King Of Kings
Lift your voice to Him and sing.

He’s the reason we are here
So honor Him with Christmas cheer.
Tell someone what He’s done for you.
Praise Him in all you say and do.
