Today you turn thirty three
 

(For my beautiful daughter April Roth
born march 17th 1971)

Did you know you are my hero
You're everything I want to be.
And I just wanted to tell you
On this day as you turn thirty three.

I'm so happy you're my daughter,
And I want the world to know.
You bring sunshine to my life,
And for this I love you so.

From the first time I held you,
Cradled in my arms so tight.
I knew that God had blessed me
And I still feel that way tonight.

You've grown into a beautiful woman,
And made me proud in so many ways.
But in my heart you'll always be,
That baby girl I held that day.
