What Will You Be

My little precious boy I wonder when I see,
Your tiny little face looking back at me.
When you are all grown up, what will you be,
A construction worker, a fireman or a poet like me.

Maybe a doctor ,or a lawyer or even a football star,
A cowboy on the range, or the driver of a race car.
No mater what you become ,no mater what you do,
I hope you know my son, I'll be so proud of you.

Weather you become a preacher and spread the word of God,
Or you become a soldier and on foreign sod you trod.
I want you to always remember, just to do you're best,
And keep you're faith in god and he will do the rest.

FOR MY SWEET
BABY BOY
LANE
